CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT:-- Before Mr. Justice Charles, the trial of Oscar Wilde, 40, and Alfred Taylor on charges under the 11th section of the Criminal Law Amendment Act was begun. His Lordship having overruled certain objections to the indictment by Sir E. Clarke on behalf of the prisoners, Mr. C.F. Gill opened the case for the prosecution, and called in support of his statements Charles and William Parker, Alfred Wood, and other witnesses. The Court then adjourned till to-day.
