IN RE OSCAR WILDE.

A petition was recently presented by the Marquis of Queensberry against Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde, described as an author, late of Tite-street, Chelsea ,and out of her Majesty‘s prison, Pentonville. The claim of the petitioning creditor, amounting to £670 is in respect of law costs, and the act of bankruptcy alleged is the debtor’s non-compliance with the requirements of the usual statutory notice.

Upon the application of Messrs. Day, Russell, and Brougham, solicitors for the petitioning creditor.

His HONOUR now made the usual receiving order.
