CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT. -- Before Mr. Justice Wills, the trial of Oscar Wilde on an indictment charging him with certain misdemeanours was resumed. The evidence for the prosecution having been completed, counsel for the prisoner submitted that on certain counts of the indictment there was no evidence to go to the jury. His Lordship held that the count in the case of Shelley must be withdrawn from the jury, as there was no corroboration of the nature required to warrent conviction, but he decided that in regard to the other charges they must go to the jury. The trial was further adjourned.
