LONDON, May 21.
During the cross-examination of Taylor at the Old Bailey by the Solicitor-General this morning there was one incident which evoked considerable interest. Sir Frank Lockwood was inquiring the names of his visitors, and the witness hesitated. "Must I say them — can't I write them down ?" asked Taylor. "No," thundered the Solicitor-General. "No," added the judge, quietly ; "if you do, you shall read them out. There must be no air of concealment about this case." "Thank you, my lord," said Sir Frank. The public were at once on the qui vive, as they thought that some spicy revelations were about to be made ; but curiosity was not gratified, for the names mentioned have all been heard before in the case !
