[...] There is a rumour that a question of contempt of court may be raised regarding the publication by the "morning" of the opinions of the jury in the Oscar Wilde case. Some authorities hold that a fair re-trial is jeopardised by the publication of the state of feeling on the part of the jury which disagreed. The Rev Stewart Hedlam has, he states, received a mass of correspondence to-day on the subject rfom people representing all parts of the Kingdom.
