OUR LONDON LETTER.
BY OUR PRIVATE WIRE.
BELFAST NEWS-LETTER OFFICE, 169, FLEET STREET, E.C., THURSDAY
NIGHT.
Sir Robert Reid, the Attorney-General, and Sir Frank Lockwood, the Solicitor-General, have given directions that Oscar Wilde shall be prosecuted afresh at the next sitting of the Central Criminal Court. They do not consider that it is a case in which either of them should appear, and the Crown will again be represented by Mr. Gill and Mr. Horace Avory. Last night Oscar was staying at the Great Northern Hotel, King's Cross, when the Marquis of Queensberry with some friends arrived. Wilde was informed of the fact, and I am told that he did not run the risk of meeting them.
