WITH OSCAR,
Alfred Taylor, a Rich Young Englishman, Is Landed.

SPECIAL CABLE TO THE ENQUIRER.

LONDON, April 7.— Alfred Taylor and his elder brother, "Willie" Taylor, derive incomes of respectively £8,000 and £12,000 per year.

The younger Taylor is a bright-looking fellow with a smooth, boyish face, sturdy physique, delicate complexion and dark brown hair, which he parts near the middle and brushes smoothly back. He is about 28 years old. His voice is slightly effeminate, but not remarkably so.

The brothers are both members of St. George's Club, Hanover square, which is a fairly first-class, but by no means exclusive West End club.

The predilections which have landed Alfred Taylor in the dock beside Wilde have been well known for years among his acquaintances, but that kind of reputation does not hurt a man much in London, unless he obtrudes his sins or creates a scandal.

Alfred Taylor is not only an Etonian, but an Oxford graduate. But he did not care a rap for literature or aesthetics, and there could never have been any intellectual sympathy between him and Oscar Wilde.

Aside from his private life, his career has been that of a typical, well-educated, sport-loving, "fast" young Englishman, with no occupation save the spending of a large fortune.
