OH, BOYS! Are You Half as Wicked as This Good Man Says You Are.

SPECIAL DISPATCH TO THE ENQUIRER.

LEXINGTON, KY., May 12. — Some of the young men of St. Paul's Catholic Church are up in arms against Rev. James Barry, and to-day circulated a petition to Bishop Maes, of Covington, asking that the learned gentleman be removed from his charge here. The petition received many signatures, and is the result of a series of sermons which Father Barry has delivered, and in which he took occasion to score the young men of the city for their wickedness. To-day he said:

"I have read with pleasure that the British Museum has thrown from its shelves the works of that depraved and totally immoral person, Oscar Wilde. The young men of this city can be fittingly compared to this Oscar Wilde, though their sins might not be so heinous, and they should meet the fate of the book—they should be cast out by the peers of society. They are to society as a cancer to the body.
