French Writers Fight a Duel

Paris, April 17. -- A duel with swords was fought today between two well-known writers, Jules Huret and Catuelle Mender, arising from the fact that the former connected the latter's name with that of Oscar Wilde. M. Mender was slightly wounded. Catuelle Mender is a well-known French author and dramatist. He is the author of many novels and several dramatic works.
