The reassuring feature of the Oscar Wilde case is the evident determination of the English courts to allow no concealment of the facts. Revolting as these are, the court yesterday declared that they must be brought out, an obviously proper ruling. No consideration of family, friends or social standing was allowed to avert that end. The conduct of this case has, indeed, been a model for some American courts. If the presiding judge has erred at all it has been on the side of decency and truth. The safe side to err upon at all times.
