El día 1. del actual se reanudaron las sesiones del Jurado que entiendo en el proceso de Oscar Wilde y Taylor.
En cuanto dio principio la audiencia, el presidente tomó la palabra, resumiendo los debates de tal manera, que todo el mundo auguró bien para los acusados.
A la una y media se retiró el Jurado á deliberar.

Esto veredicto sorprendió á todo el mundo, y la indecisión fué mayor cuando se supo que Mr. Gill, representante del Ministerio público, declaraba que Wilde y Taylor comparecerán nuevamente ante los Tribunales, en la próxima reunión do éstos.
Un abogado eminente, indignado por la decisión de los jurados, exclamó al conocer el veredicto:
-¡Ante las concluyentes pruebas de culpabilidad que se han oído y leído, eso acuerdo del Jurado es un tremendo ultraje á la justicia! ¡Tengo la seguridad de que deterás de todo esto hay algo incomprensible y misterioso para el público!
