OSCAR AVOIDS THE TRIAL FOR LIBEL
Leaves London Suddenly to Get Away from
the Queensberry Case.

London, April 2. - It is rumored that Oscar Wilde left London suddenly this morning in order to avoid being present at the trial tomorrow of the suit for libel which he has brought against the Marquis of Queensberry as a result of the allegations which the Marquis made against him on a card left at the Albemarle club on Feb. 18 last.
